Ben (who was staring out at the ocean in shock) stood up and walked towards a group of people due to being shy he just stood on the outside of the group and didn't say anything

"What are we going to do now?" I asked weakly, looking up ay everyone. "Are we going to round up some people to go and find this radio?"
I looked around at everyone who seemed to be in the little group around us. No one seemed to be saying anything and I'm not one to take charge..And I don't think I'm one to go into the unknown to find that radio either..((obviously something/someone needs to change my mind lol)).
I did, however have an opinion on the subject..I was thinking that maybe we should wait until later to get the radio..just in case rescue did come. Maybe there as no need to go out there and get it. I mean, we shouldn't be here long, right?

He noticed a look of trepidation on one of the girl's faces.
"It's up to you but I really want to go and find the radio. There is people that might need the proper medical attention so we shouldn't waste any time in trying to contact someone. "
Paul lied. He was extremly creeped out by the figure he'd seen earlier and just wanted to get off this place as soon as possible.
"Anyone who wants to join me meet me in two hours at the edge of the forest. Let's make it just a few people we don't know what's out there."
Paul tried to look confident but his bottom lip quivered slightly. He waved bye to Jemma and went off to collect some supplies for the trip.

I smiled back at Paul as he left before turning to the others, "I think it's a good idea," I stated quietly to the gang as the beach started to calm down and survivors dealt with the carnage left behind, "We wanna get offa here, right? God, this is terrible. I just want to go home."

This guy was right. The sooner we get help and get home the better. People needed help and they couldn't exactly wait for it. I took a second to think about how lucky I was to still be alive with little injuries.
I hoped going to look for this radio was a good idea..There was a fear that anyone who went to look for it would get lost and not get back in time if rescue did come while they were gone. But what if it didn't? Was this a waiting game or did something need to be done?
Anyway this Paul fellow seemed adamant on going for this radio so it seemed like this mission was happening.

"Yeah, me too.." I added. I looked over at the others. "So, what do you guys think, then?"
